LightShare is a nonprofit organization committed to developing and enhancing programs that support intergenerational connections in Buncombe County, NC.  We know that when we bring young and old together, they are nurtured emotionally and spiritually. We anticipate that this outcome will strengthen family connections in our community.

While many agencies serve specific populations or age groups, LightShare strives to integrate programming across the life span. We accomplish this goal in part by facilitating collaborative partnerships among nonprofits, private businesses, civic groups and faith-based organizations. We believe that by working together creatively, we can enhance existing services and reach a wider spectrum of area residents.
