A nonprofit organization, LightShare develops intergenerational programs that address the roots of poverty one community at a time.  We know that when we bring young and old together, they are nurtured emotionally and spiritually.  Outreach includes families and senior adults who are impacted by cultural, economic, or health factors.  Our organization addresses the priorities and concerns of all who participate regardless of ability, age, faith, gender, race/ethnicity, or sexual identity.  

While many agencies serve specific populations or age groups, LightShare strives to integrate programming across the life span. We accomplish this goal in part by facilitating collaborative partnerships among nonprofits, private businesses, civic groups and faith-based organizations. We believe that by working together creatively, we can enhance existing services and reach a wider spectrum of area residents.
